১।  রিজার্ভ ব্যাংক অফ ইন্ডিয়া (আরবিআই) একজন নতুন এমডি ও সিইও দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ না করা পর্যন্ত পরিচালন পরিচালক ও প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তার সক্ষমতা অনুযায়ী বেসরকারী খাতের ঋণদাতা ধনলক্ষ্মী ব্যাংক পরিচালনার জন্য তিন সদস্যের অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন পরিচালনা কমিটির (সিওডি) অনুমোদন দিয়েছে।

২।  আসামের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী সর্বানন্দ সোনোয়াল 2020 সালের 1 অক্টোবর 'কৃতজ্ঞতা' নামে একটি ওয়েব পোর্টাল চালু করেছেন ।

৩।  2020 সালের 01 অক্টোবর পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় "পাঠশ্রী অভিযান" নামে একটি নতুন প্রকল্প চালু করেছেন।

৪।  কেন্দ্রীয় উপজাতি বিষয়ক মন্ত্রী শ্রী অর্জুন মুন্ডা ২ অক্টোবরে ভিডিও কনফারেন্সের মাধ্যমে উপজাতির উদ্যোক্তা উন্নয়ন কর্মসূচির উদ্বোধন করেন।

৫।  1983 সাল থেকে প্রতিবছর, কৃষক প্রাণীদের জন্য বিশ্ব দিবস (ডাব্লুডিএফএ) 2 শে অক্টোবর পালন করা হয়, যা মহাত্মা গান্ধীর জন্মবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে।

৬।  প্রবীণ সমাজকর্মী প্রফেসর পুষ্প ভাভে, যিনি মুম্বইয়ের আয়রন লেডি নামেও পরিচিত, দীর্ঘায়িত অসুস্থতার পরে মারা গেছেন। তাঁর বয়স হয়েছিল 81 বছর।

৭।  2020 সালের 3 শে অক্টোবর, ডিআরডিও ওড়িশা উপকূলে বালাসোরে একটি শৌর্য পৃষ্ঠ থেকে পৃষ্ঠতলের পারমাণবিক-ক্ষমতা সম্পন্ন ব্যালিস্টিক ক্ষেপণাস্ত্রের সফলভাবে পরীক্ষা চালিয়েছে ।

৮।  ইন্ডিয়ান নেভির দ্বিতীয় সংস্করণ (ভারত) - বাংলাদেশ নৌবাহিনী (বিএন) দ্বিপাক্ষিক অনুশীলন উত্তর বঙ্গোপসাগরে শুরু হয় 03 অক্টোবর 2020।

৯।  2020 সালের 3 শে অক্টোবর ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী "অটল টানেল" দেশের উদ্দেশ্যে উত্সর্গ করলেন ।

১০।  ভারত ও আমেরিকা 90 মিলিয়ন ডলার মূল্যের একটি প্রতিরক্ষা চুক্তি করেছে, যেখানে মার্কিন সি -130 জে সুপার হারকিউলিস কার্গো বিমানের ভারতের বহরের জন্য সরঞ্জাম, খুচরা যন্ত্রাংশ এবং লজিস্টিক্যাল সহায়তা সরবরাহ করবে।
